Traditional Irish Cookery
Come along for an evening with Celtic flair and culinary specialities. We´ll prepare and enjoy a selection of dishes together while not forgetting to taste some traditional drinks, like Guinness or Bailey´s. Test an Irish coffee and learn how to make a variety of traditional scones with simple ingredients and tips. Try some Shepherds Pie, an Irish casserole dish with minced beef and mashed potato. I’ll be looking forward to hearing participants stories, if they have already visited Ireland, as well as sharing experiences and photos of my home country. We`ll be using a combination of English, Germish, Bocholter Platt and High German for ́ communication, so a lack of language skills is not an excuse to stay home. Copies of all recipes supplied.
