Irish Cookery Evening
Come along for an evening with Celtic flair and culinary specialities. We'll prepare and enjoy a selection of dishes together while not forgetting to taste some traditional drinks, like Guinness or Bailey`s. Test an Irish coffee and learn how to make a variety of traditional scones with simple ingredients and tips. Try some Shepherds Pie, an Irish casserole dish with minced beef and mashed potato. I`ll be looking forward to hearing participants stories, if they have already visited Ireland, as well as sharing experiences and photos of my home country. We`ll be using a combination of English, Germish, Bocholter Platt and High German for communication, so a lack of language skills is not an excuse to stay home. Copies of all recipes supplied.
Please bring a cooking apron, a dish towel, and containers for any leftovers.
The fee includes a €20 contribution toward food costs.
The course takes place in a small group of a maximum of 10 participants.
